Java Developer

Headquartered in San Bruno, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley, we are presented in Ukraine in Kyiv, Odessa and Lviv. Company has more than 500 engineers employed. We have experience of service delivery for customers such as eBay, Skype, Marktplaats, CISCO/Ironport, Macrovision and Hewlett-Packard.

Since our business expands we are looking for experienced Java developer to join our company. We have variety of Java projects in Lviv office and now extend our teams.

Our customer is Marktplaats - leading classifieds site  in the Netherlands. Now it is part of eBay Classified group. Site has several categories/vertical business: Cars, Service etc.

Required skills: 

• 3+ years experience with Java programming (OOP/OOD, Design Patterns)
• Java commercial development experience (OOP/OOD, Design Patterns, Unit testing)
• Knowledge of Java code standard guidelines
• At least intermediate English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work in an AGILE software development environment, maintaining focus yet remaining flexible to requirements and design changes
• Professional attitude to customer engagements
• Good communication skills
• Work in high-loaded environment will be a huge plus
• Excellent proactive problem solving abilities

Desired skilled: 

• Experience of one of the following databases: MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Hibernate ORM or any other JPA provider
• SpringFramework, SpringSecurity
• Tomcat/JBoss/GlassFish AS
• RESTful web-services
• Search engines: Lucene, Solr
• RIA
• Code version control systems (SVN, Git)
• Knowledge of Thrift will be a plus
